However just because Gerwyn Price wins the PDC World Championship throwing with Red Dragon’s doesn’t mean that your darts will significantly improve should you start using his brand of Red Dragon Darts.
Choosing your darts should be about selecting darts you feel comfortable throwing at a size and weight that is comfortable for you. That being said if your favourite darts players uses darts in a similar weight and style to what you prefer, what harm could it do to try the darts of your favourite pro?

2. Gerwyn Price
Gerwyn uses 24g Red Dragon. The reigning world champion and also the 2nd person on this list to use Red Dragon darts. Gerwyn uses a slightly heavier dart (24g) than Snakebite’s (22g)
3. Michael Van Gerwen
Michael uses 21.5g Winmau. The first player on this list to use Winmau’s. Michael has a lighter weight dart (21.5g) than most of the players on this list.

It’s interesting to see that the range of weights goes from 12g (Stephen Bunting) to 31g (Ryan Searle). We can also see that the most popular brand is Red Dragon, Unicorn and Winmau 4 players, then Target with 3, Bulls with 2 and Harrrows, Loxley and Trinidad with one player each.
